rAbout Liberty Reserve
Liberty Reserve is a digital currency and online payment system with similarity to Paypal, E-Gold, Pecunix, E-Bullion and other E-Currency services. You can send or receive money to or from anyone in the world and do not like PayPal, Liberty Reserve 100% payment can not be canceled, which means that after the payment is sent there is no rejection policy.
Instead of information sources such as Wikipedia and About.com, Liberty Reserve founded in Costa Rica, not Panama. Server they are operating in the Netherlands, good for a digital currency to their servers to operate outside the United States. It is not clear where Liberty Reserve, AOS is located operations office real negative for any company that wants to process a large business to business transactions. Also not clear whether they hold any licenses to do business with U.S. citizens or if necessary for a Costa Rica-based company.
Liberty Reserve Funding of Accounts
As with many digital currency, Liberty Reserve does not receive direct transactions to and from their systems. Funded account or cashed out using the exchanger, and some famous exchanger exchanges accept Liberty Reserve. Additionaly, the exchange rate for the current Liberty Reserve is much more feasible than other e-currencies such as Pecunix. This fact makes Liberty Reserve seems to be the choice for smaller webmasters primarily sell advertising or services on their Web site.
My Opinions on Liberty Reserve as an Online Business Owner
Liberty Reserve is protected by a claim for foreign trust, and claims all the time which will be supported 100% by U.S. dollars for LR-USD accounts, and by gold for LR-gold accounts. However, no information is given about the contact details for the offshore trust, and no information about the amount of gold bars or bullion which is stored as provided in plain view on the E-Gold, AOS website. The fact that the Liberty Reserve admitted, Äúbacked by gold, Au but does not provide inspection and / or summary of the results as a digital gold currency other (DCG, AOS) would cause a significant lack of credibility among those who want to keep their digital gold. Liberty Reserve to hide the fact that, AOS physical office address, does not publish details of their business contacts and have domain registration whois privacy of their information is another reason to make me wary of using them as a payment option other than small transactions when there is no other option.
The fact that the Liberty Reserve, such as e-gold and other processors, have a non-rejection policy and transaction is 100% pulled back, I do not, AOT see many brick and mortar merchants selling goods that use the system because quite honestly, I do not , AOT think many people will pay $ 4000 or Plasma TV $ 600 iPhone with Liberty Reserve funds.
My Opinions on Liberty Reserve, AOS Design and Implementation
Liberty Reserve, AOS user interface is simple and easy to use, and is reminiscent of AlertPay, AOS interface. Login process is a two-step process and Liberty Reserve seems to have covered the basic interface as far as providing a safe somewhere between the simplicity of E-Gold and Pecunix complexity. They provide an intuitive SCI / API for traders who want to easily add Liberty Reserve as payment option to their Web site, and within minutes we had traders, AOS interface and running on one of our test sites.
Overall, Liberty Reserve looks promising if they would only horse to the contact details and details about the number of gold bars on their property. Until that happens, I, Äôd have to give them 5 / 10 rating because when dealing with monetary exchange system, and payment processors / or digital currencies; transparency are absolutely necessary to facilitate a belief system.
